Feb 1 A month of outfits

I love monthly challenges. For January I was focusing on practicing Italian every day. I’m still doing a lesson via Duolingo at least once a day, but a new month means a new lesson to focus on. This month I’m challenging myself to wear a different outfit each day. I’m doing this for a few reasons, primarily I’ve been in a bit of a clothing rut thanks to COVID and the cold weather. Since I’m staying indoors more I’ve resorted to sweats and no make-up more often than not. But, there is something to be said for getting dressed and splashing on a little mascara.

This month may be short and cold, but between starting a new job, virtual events, and Valentine’s day I do an assortment of reasons to put in a little more effort into looking and feeling my best. I also rejoined Rent the Runway as a treat to myself. I may not keep the service forever, but I figured being able to rent a few outfits for a month or two would be a fun way out of a fashion rut.
