Shopping small

To say businesses have been impacted by COVID is an understatement. Living in New York there are so many small, independent stores that I was used to frequenting. Early on during the pandemic, I started a public spreadsheet where I’ve been keeping a list of business in NYC and elsewhere that I love, Etsy shops that I’ve purchased from, and businesses run by friends or friends of friends.

I’ve included their shipping and delivery areas. If you are looking to make some purchases from home I hope that you’ll give this list a look. You can really make a difference to a mom and pop shop by throwing them some business and you’ll often find unique items that you can’t get anywhere else.
