One Girl Cookies

For today’s edition of Throwback Thursday, I’d love to share one of my favorite coffee houses in Brooklyn – One Girl Cookies. I used to work at an office in Dumbo, a few blocks from their outpost on Main Street. When I wanted to treat myself I’d stop there for a cafe au lait and their famous bite-size cookies. The classic chocolate chip and the apricot almond are my favorites. They also make delicious whoopie pies and other confections. There are gluten-free and vegan options and some savory dishes for breakfast and lunch as well.

One Girl Cookies’ bakery is located in Industry City. I had the opportunity to visit that location in December. They also have an outpost in Cobble Hill, which I haven’t been to yet. The Industry City cafe location is temporarily closed, but you can pick up coffee and treats in Dumbo on the weekends and at the Cobble Hill location Thursdays-Mondays.
