Gun Hill Brewing Company

I’ve been to a number of local breweries in Brooklyn and Queens during my years in NYC. This weekend I had my first experience at a Bronx Brewery when Lou and I went to a birthday party for a friend that was held at Gunn Hill Brewing Company.

The brewery has drafts and cans which you can enjoy there or take home in growlers. The tap menu is ever-changing and you can order flights in order to sample multiple brews without getting too tipsy. My personal favorite was the Barrel Aged Void of Light.

The brewery doesn’t have a kitchen but allows you to bring outside food from local eateries, making for a fun afternoon in the Allerton/Laconia area of the Bronx.
